RURAL HEALTH

Reaching Every Corner of the U.S.

The Bloomberg American Health Initiative has been working to advance health in rural communities since its founding in 2016. Over the past decade, that commitment has grown into a significant body of work. As of 2026, we have over 140 Bloomberg Fellows working in rural areas, and the Initiative has dedicated more than $3 million across more than 70 projects focused specifically on rural populations.
