Shannon A. Jones

Shannon Jones is the Communications and Events Manager for the Bloomberg American Health Initiative.  Fueled by the desire to serve, Shannon joins the John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health with over 11 years in media communications experience ranging from event production logistics and management to corporate social responsibility with BET Networks, a subsidiary of Viacom Media Networks.  She also serves as an adjunct professor with the Community College of Baltimore County.  Shannon has a Master of Education in Administration & Supervision and a Bachelor of Arts & Science degree in Mass Communications from Tennessee State University.
