Samantha Elliott is the Educator and Quality Specialist for North Memorial Health’s Community Paramedic Program, bringing data, quality improvement, and education to a unique department that prides itself on helping each other achieve our best health. Throughout her life and as a paramedic, she has seen the effects of addiction on her family, community, first responder peers, and the patients she cared for. In her present role, she works with physicians, hospital administrators, community paramedics, and other organizations, such as the Minnesota Department of Health, to bring resources, naloxone kits, overdose education, and healthcare to people experiencing substance use and addiction, poverty, chronic disease, food insecurity, and housing challenges. She is also part of North Memorial Health’s Emerging Leaders Program and proudly serves as a paramedic on the United States Disaster Medical Assistance Team.

North Memorial Health (NMH) is a healthcare organization based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, serving over 55,000+ patients monthly across 27 primary care and specialty clinics, two hospitals, five urgency centers, 104 ambulances, and nine medical helicopters.
