My work at the Solano County Pediatric Clinic includes supervising mid-level Nurse Practitioners , Physician Assistants , and other Pediatricians, as well as providing clinical care to pediatric patients from birth to age 18. I direct a program called Centering Parenting, which aims to improve the Black Maternal Health Care outcomes for Opportunity Youth ages 18-26 with group well visits from birth to two years. My goal is to address the parents' specific educational and vocational needs, as well as improve their mental health care access by addressing adverse childhood experiences and their resilience to those experiences in a safe space. I plan to continue to refine my collaborations with various maternal health care providers to achieve substantially improved health care outcomes for the children and their families.

Solano County Family Health Services serves over 30,000 patients annually at a Federally Qualified Health Center, ranging from newborns to seniors. We provide medical, dental, and mental health services. Our three locations in Fairfield, Vacaville, and Vallejo collaborate with Solano County Department of Public Health . The Solano County Hospital opened in 1918 and closed in the 1970s. The outpatient Family Services began in 2010 and has continued to grow and expand over the past 15 years.
