Michelle Gaffaney is a Physician Assistant at Mental Health Partners, where she works to provide outpatient addiction and mental health care. As part of her clinical role, Michelle is working to expand access to medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) through a Hub-and-Spoke model of care so patients may receive MOUD services alongside their mental health treatment. Plans for future community spokes include probation and jail programs, emergency departments, and primary care clinics. She is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Colorado and serves as a guest lecturer at the University of Colorado Physician Assistant Program.

For 60 years, Mental Health Partners (MHP) has been dedicated to providing high-quality mental health care and addiction recovery services in a supportive, welcoming, and confidential environment. Over the decades, MHP has expanded to meet the growing needs of our surrounding communities, with multiple locations in Boulder, Broomfield, Longmont, and Lafayette offering a multi-disciplinary, compassionate care team to individuals at every level of care. Services include a Walk-In Crisis Center and Withdrawal Management in Boulder, Colorado for immediate assistance with a mental health crisis and treatment of acute withdrawal, open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. MHP also has outpatient offices for all ages and families. Many programs and services are available including school-based programs, addiction treatment, rape crisis counseling, advocacy, and education. We offer bilingual/bicultural services and an in-house pharmacy.
