Michael Bsaibes is the Chief Operating Officer at Spring Branch Community Health Center (SBCHC), where he plays a key role in overseeing the delivery of healthcare services. Michael ensures that medical, dental, behavioral health, and housing support services are effectively integrated to address the needs of vulnerable populations. He manages the organization’s operations, ensuring programs like the Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) and school-based mental health services are impactful. Michael’s leadership is crucial in upholding the quality and accessibility of care, while also tackling social determinants of health to improve long-term outcomes for individuals and families served by SBCHC.
Spring Branch Community Health Center (SBCHC) is a private, non-profit organization providing quality, accessible health services to the neighborhoods of Houston. Serving over 30,000 individuals annually, 25% of them youth, SBCHC offers programs that support individuals across all ages. Initiatives like the Youth Homelessness Program provide housing, healthcare, employment support, and case management to help young people achieve stability. School-based mental health services deliver counseling, group therapy, and peer support, while the Leadership Institute introduces youth to careers in healthcare. Together, these efforts advance SBCHC’s mission to build healthier, stronger communities by addressing the root causes of health disparities.
