Megan Weil Latshaw, PhD, MHS, is an Associate Scientist in the Department of Environmental Health and Engineering, where she also directs the Master of Health Science in Environmental Health and Master of Science in Environmental Health degree programs. Dr. Latshaw spent much of her career in Washington, D.C., where she created the State Environmental Health Directors group and provided the groundwork for the National Biomonitoring Network. Her current work focuses on designing healthy communities, connecting environmental health research with the real world, addressing environmental injustice, and improving environmental health surveillance. Dr. Latshaw is the Immediate Past Chair of the American Public Health Association’s Intersectional Council Steering Committee.
