Laurel Huston serves as a District Supervisor for the Community Reentry at Treatment Alternatives for Stronger Communities in Illinois and oversees multiple programs serving men, women, and families impacted by substance use disorders. Treatment Alternatives for Stronger Communities operates statewide at the intersection of health and the criminal legal system, where the right intervention can change the course of a life. We help people and institutions navigate complex systems of justice, substance use, and mental health through Specialized Case Managementâ„¢, connecting individuals to care, support, and opportunity. Our work spans prevention, treatment, reentry, and community-based support, partnering with courts, law enforcement, and service providers to create pathways away from incarceration and toward stability. Grounded in compassion, guided by evidence, and centered on accountability, we address the underlying needs that impact long-term outcomes, including access to care, housing, and support services. Through direct services, system collaboration, and advocacy, we strengthen individuals, support families, and advance safer, healthier communities across Illinois.
