Kathy Serrano

Kathy Serrano is a Grants Management Specialist at the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office on Violence Against Women, where she supports the administration of federal grant programs addressing domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. She has over a decade of experience in violence prevention and response, including prior roles as a Child Protective Services Investigator and Program Director at a rape crisis center.

The Office on Violence Against Women is a component of the U.S. Department of Justice. OVW provides federal leadership in developing the national capacity to reduce violence against women and administering justice for, and strengthening services to, victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
