Izabelle Wensley is an associate at Synergy Enterprises, Inc. (Synergy) in Bethesda, Maryland, where she supports alcohol policy-related federal contracts with the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. These projects strive to synthesize the latest science on alcohol , policy research, and public health theory to increase access to reliable data and reduce alcohol-related harms. Izabelle combines her passion for data translation with her experience working with community substance use prevention coalitions to create accessible alcohol policy resources. Most notably, she contributes to the Sober Truth on Preventing Underage Drinking (STOP) Act reports, the Interagency Coordinating Committee on the Prevention of Underage Drinking (ICCPUD) Community-Level Policies to Prevent Alcohol Misuse (Policy Academy) evaluation, and the Alcohol Policy Information System website.
