Erika Lobe is a Research Scientist for the Office of Primary Care & Rural Health within the New Jersey Department of Health, where she ensures equitable primary care access for the state's most vulnerable populations. Her work spans overseeing program-wide data collection efforts, managing healthcare provider shortage designations, and supporting innovative programs such as the Sickle Cell Disease Pilot Program and Medical-Dental HPV Integration initiative. Her journey working in public health began in global health, serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Benin and later working with the Carter Center's Guinea Worm Eradication Program in Chad. She later transitioned to working at NJDOH, serving as the Adolescent/Adult Immunization Coordinator for six years.
