Colleen Moore

Colleen Moore is the manager of the Center for Hope Abuse and Assault Response Team (CHAART), a program which provides crisis intervention, safety planning and resource connection to survivors of abuse and violence at LifeBridge Health’s Carroll Hospital in Westminster, Maryland. During her career, she has coordinated a total of four successful hospital-based victim advocacy programs. Colleen was featured in “Power and Control: Domestic Violence and Health Care,” a documentary about best practices in the health care response to intimate partner violence. She was a recipient of the Maryland Governor’s Victim Assistance Citation in 2015, the 2016 Baltimore County Domestic Violence Leadership Award and the 2017 Maryland Network Against Domestic Violence Leadership Award. Ms. Moore is currently president of the Maryland Health Care Coalition Against Domestic Violence. 

Center for Hope, a part of LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, is dedicated to advancing hope, healing and resilience for those impacted by trauma, abuse and violence through comprehensive response, treatment, education and prevention. As a pioneering facility, Center for Hope brings together programs, experts and city agency partners in a collaborative environment that fosters positivity and promotes safety, well-being, and success for individuals of all ages. It stands as the first of its kind in the nation, serving as a model for integrated services aimed at breaking the cycle of violence and reducing its lifelong effects across diverse communities. Center for Hope operates a community violence ecosystem and serves as the access point to advanced crisis care for over 20,000 children, adults and community members each year.
