Claire Gray

Bloomberg Fellow

Claire Gray is a Research Analyst II at the National Association of State Alcohol and Drug Agency Directors (NASADAD). In her current role, she provides technical assistance to state agencies, supporting their ability to implement, monitor, and improve their substance use disorder service systems. Her work involves staying abreast of federal and state health policy issues and providing actionable information that states case use to promote the uptake of evidence-based services and innovative delivery models. She aims to contribute toward strengthening and advancing mental health and substance use disorder systems, working to ensure that anyone who needs help can access the medical, therapeutic, and wraparound services they need to heal from addiction and sustain recovery. 

NASADAD is a private, not-for-profit educational, scientific, and informational organization incorporated to serve Single State Agency (SSA) directors for alcohol and drug services. NASADAD’s principal purpose is to foster and support the development of effective substance use disorder prevention, intervention, treatment, and recovery services and systems throughout the United States. NASADAD serves as the national voice of state substance use agencies, fosters partnerships among states, federal agencies, and other key national organizations, promotes key competencies of effective state substance use agencies, and promotes increased public understanding of prevention, treatment, and recovery processes and services.
