Bhargavi Sampath

Bhargavi Sampath is a Director of Innovation at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) based in Boston, Massachusetts. As the content lead for IHI’s work in climate and health, she directs research initiatives and develops programming focused on environmental sustainability and climate resilience across the health care system. Under her leadership, IHI has investigated evidence-based, high-impact measures and actions for health care decarbonization, producing reports, resources, and educational programming. Bhargavi is committed to applying evidence-based, multidisciplinary methods to accelerate climate action and embed environmental justice in care delivery.
