Amanda Brosnan

Amanda Brosnan has accepted a new role of Assistant Professor at the University of North Texas Health Science Center (HSC), with responsibilities including teaching, research, and clinical practice. She is responsible for teaching PA studies classes on various medical subject matter. She is also part of a team responsible for restarting an on-campus adolescent health clinic, serving adolescents at high-risk in the areas of sexual and mental health. She has partnerships with HSC’s School of Public Health and is assisting in adolescent health research. 

The University of North Texas Health Science Center (HSC) values serving others first, with a mission to create solutions for a healthier community. It houses more than 2,000 students and six schools dedicated to patient care, patient-centered education, and research. The institution also is composed of “HSC Health”, with 13 different clinics throughout Tarrant County, including a pediatric clinic on its main campus at the HSC Health Center Pavilion. The School of Health Professions, within UNTHSC, includes the Physician Assistant Studies Program, which seeks to develop PAs that positively impact the community. It is ranked in the top 13th tier of graduate-level physician assistant programs in the United States.
