Allie Gendreau is the program coordinator for the Behavioral Health Integrated Program at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. In this role, she is the first point of contact for inpatient medical teams and triages all requests for multidisciplinary behavioral health consult services across CHOP’s two medical campuses. In her previous work, Gendreau has supported children and families impacted by trauma, providing intensive case management services in the community and trauma focused therapy. She is a licensed clinical social worker.

The Behavioral Health Inpatient Program in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) provides assessment and brief mental health treatment to medically admitted patients and their families. The BHIP team is comprised of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychologists, licensed clinical social workers and behavior analysts. The goal of this service is to address mental health concerns as they relate to physical health admissions, as well as to connect to long term resources to support physical and mental wellbeing in the community.
