Alexander Tuch is an experienced thought leader at Kaiser Permanente, based in Oakland, California, with roles spanning national strategy, business development, and care delivery operations. His current focus is on the design and implementation of ambulatory care programs that enhance care quality and access for Kaiser Permanente members. Additionally, Alexander partners with Kaiser Permanente’s Office of Environmental Stewardship to advance the organization’s understanding of how food production and food choice impact public, personal, and climate health. His contributions include an overhaul of Kaiser Permanente's food sustainability strategy through the development of organizational goals and mechanisms for evaluating the ecological impact of food services across the delivery system. Additionally, Alexander advises Kaiser Permanente’s Food Is Medicine Center of Excellence to ensure that food system sustainability efforts are fully integrated with programs designed to reduce food insecurity for Kaiser Permanente members.
