Focus Area: Environmental Challenges
Dr. Roni Neff, PhD, is an assistant professor of environmental health and engineering at Johns Hopkins University. She directs the Center for a Livable Future’s program on food system sustainability. In addition to her research on that topic, she is active in education and policy. She edited a widely used food systems textbook, co-leads the school’s food systems MPH concentration and certificate programs, oversees the Center for a Livable Future–Lerner Fellowship, and teaches community-engaged classes. She serves on the board of directors of the Agriculture, Food and Human Values Society and has held multiple leadership roles within the American Public Health Association.
