Megan Weil Latshaw

Dr. Megan Weil Latshaw, PhD, MHS, is an assistant scientist in the Department of Environmental Health and Engineering at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Latshaw spent much of her career in DC, where she created the State Environmental Health Directors group and the National Biomonitoring Network. Currently her efforts focus on designing healthy communities and improving environmental health surveillance. Recently, she wrapped up her second year as Chair of the American Public Health Association’s Environment Section and was named one of 20 Pioneers under 40 in Environmental Public Health. Dr. Latshaw has participated on more than a dozen committees, presented at almost two dozen meetings and co-authored seven peer-reviewed articles.
