Focus Area: Risks to Adolescent Health
Dr. Kristin Mmari is an associate professor in the Department of Population, Family, and Reproductive Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Together with Dr. Mendelson, she co-leads the Risks to Adolescent Health area of the Bloomberg American Health Initiative. Dr. Mmari is currently the Director of Qualitative and Implementation Research for the Global Early Adolescent Study (GEAS), one of the largest global studies of early adolescents. She is a frequent consultant to several UN agencies, as well as to local agencies, such as Parent’s Place of Maryland and the Maryland’s Department of Health and Hygiene.
